Freestyle BMX Sponsorship Opportunities

Interested in getting involved with this year’s Smalls Summer Xtravaganza? With an expected crowd surpassing 2,000 riders and spectators alike, the festivities of the weekend can serve as a great opportunity for your company to generate sales, as well as create brand recognition and preference within the youth culture of Pittsburgh and beyond. In a market with limited opportunities to reach this demographic in such a concentrated setting, the Xtravaganza may be just the chance your company needs to create a lasting bond with the attendees.

For this event we are offering sponsorship opportunities to companies within the bike industry to directly support the Freestyle BMX Pro/Am contest. Cash contributions will be directly attributed to the prize purse for the contest winners. Combined with the $500 donation from Mr. Smalls, the support from the industry will truly determine the size of the purse. In-kind donations of sponsor products will be distributed as prizes, not only for the Xtravaganza Freestyle BMX Pro/Am contest, but also throughout the entire summer BMX contest series at Mr. Smalls SkatePark. Therefore, your participation as a sponsor will not only give your company exposure to the action sports community of Pittsburgh and beyond, but it will also serve to strengthen the competition within the BMX contests and directly reward contest participants.

There are three standard levels of sponsorship available, ranging in value from $600 to $2000. With an even split at each level between cash and product value, your sponsorship will be directly supporting the contest with both prize money and product. As outlined below, each package offers a variety of advertisement and participation opportunities for your company during the Xtravaganza.

Silver Package
$600 - $300/cash & $300/in-kind
  • Sponsorship Booth at the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza on July 26th
  • Guaranteed entrance for one of your riders into the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza contest finals
  • Two VIP passes to the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza Party at Mr. Smalls Theatre on July 25th

Gold Package
$1000 - $500/cash & $500/in-kind
  • Named as an official sponsor of the Freestyle BMX contest
  • Logo placement on internet event advertisement
  • Sponsorship Booth at the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza on July 26th
  • Guaranteed entrance for two of your riders into the Xtravaganza contest finals
  • Four VIP passes to the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza Party at Mr. Smalls Theatre on July 25th

Platinum Package
$2000 - $1000/cash & $1000/in-kind
  • Banner space in Mr. Smalls Skatepark during the Xtravaganza festivities
  • Headline billing as a co-sponsor of the Friday night Smalls Summer Xtravaganza Party at Mr. Smalls Theatre
  • Named as an official sponsor of the Pro/Am freestyle BMX contest at the Xtravaganza
  • Logo placement on internet event adveritsement.
  • Sponsorship Booth at the Xtravaganza Preliminaries on July 25th AND the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza on July 26th
  • Guaranteed entrance for four of your riders into the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza contest finals
  • Ten VIP passes to the Smalls Summer Xtravaganza Party at Mr. Smalls Theatre on July 25th
